We have elaborated the methodology of geomorphological assessment for livestock farming by GIS technology, based on morphometric analysis. In the result, pasture land area is di-vided by four levels which are convenient, normal, complicated and inconvenient. There are area of 1455 million hectare which are possible to use for pastureland in the research area. Now we are uti-lizing only the area of 608 thousand hectare or 42% for pastureland. In the Renchinlhumbe sum, 309 thousand hectare of 468 thousand hectare are used, in the Ulaan-Uul sum, 268 thousand hectare of 636 thousand hectare are used, in the Tsagaannuur sum, 38 thousand hectare of 351 thousand hectare are used.
