Soil texture is the relative proportion of sand, silt, and clay in soil. Particle size distribuition is one of the most influential factors of soil physical properties. The sand, silt, and clay contents of 48 soil samples were determined using the classification of Kachinsky (russian) and classification of United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). There are also differences in the analytical result obtained from the Kachinsky and USDA classification. Classification of USDA is easier to use, quicker and convenient for routine analyses but is less precise than classification of Kachinsky.
