Abstract: Pasture degradation and desertification are most serious hazards in the world. Traditional pasture and land use misbalanced by causing climate change in last few years. Land degradation issues mostly related to the factor of using pasture in Mongolia. Therefore, we need to determine to the present solution of pasture use and pasture degradation by base on the study and analyzing. This is most important to forecast, protecting hazards and define their approaches. We sampled study area that located to three sub-provinces of Khutag-Undur, Bugat, and Gurvanbulag, Bulgan, Mongolia, and analyzed on using the information of ground station and field measurement, and four seasonal location data of LANDSAT satellite images since 2006 and 2014. The advantages of this study were that estimation was real spatial areas without total pasture area on traditional livestock pastureland. The final result was that when livestock farmers moved to a place closely in summer and autumn seasonal time, the density of livestock was counted by about 5-8 sheep per hectares and about 500-800 sheep per square km. In addition, the results could be showed following conclusions such as the number of livestock has been increased by 2 times and pasture capacity has been exceeded by 3.5 times for comparison of 2006.
